Rural Texas has a shocking lack of public health infrastructure: www.texastribune.org/2025/03/10/r... During the New Deal, the PWA, WPA, & other agencies improved public health in Texas. The PWA built many hospitals, incl. one for Quanah, in rural Hardeman County. #healthcare #Texas #hospitals
