I watched ATLA & TLOK for the first time as an adult. I think Aang is praised bc he's an ideal pacifist-leaning hero, but Korra is so relateable as a young adult. I think it makes people uncomfortable bc any one of us could make the same mistakes as her. but she learns so much across the series.
