I am so thankful that the Kroger - Albertsons merger fell through. I am incredibly thankful for Washington AG Bob Ferguson suing to block it in WA and the FTC following his lead. In my area, we would have been left with no standard grocery store competition. Huge victory for us consumers!!

I’m growing increasingly furious at the various articles showcasing the number of industries dependent on undocumented immigrants as workers in our country. We will employ them, withhold taxes from them, and allow them to live under constant threat of deportation. We do nothing to fix the issue.

I read “Poverty, by America” by Matthew Desmond earlier this year. A few things really stuck with me in that book, but one related to housing. He discussed NIMBYism quite a bit & how vocal that crowd is when it comes to zoning. I’m trying to be more vocal in my support for better zoning options.
