Putting laundry away and then thrifting w @ingforart.bsky.social whoohoo!

Good god. I know, hashtag-not-all-nerds but good god nonetheless.

Hell yes. All day every day. Let me raise grievances with the young people.

Mmm, it's that Carl Sagan time of semester! I'll be laying the "baloney detection kit" onto one of my classes on Monday.

If the US makes it out in one piece, all politicians need to be banned from social media. No more individual accounts. Yes, even the ones I agree with.

I've started collecting thoughts and related things on the topic of digital autonomy. I'm really thinking about it in terms of unpicking my dependence on the usual companies/services. I call this "digital frogging". chromeandvelvet.neocities.org/digitalfrogg...

This is unacceptable. Absolutely deplorable. Nordquist deserved better.

If anyone uses Libby and has difficulty finding queer authors, this program links to your Libby account and has a library specifically for queer titles I got it and was able to find books I couldn’t find online or at my used book store so I thought I’d share with yall www.queerliberationlibrary.org

Worked a full day, worked on a midterm, time to run the dogs out and have dinner before an online poetry reading. Full day!

Me as soon as spring gets underway...

I grew up with one family TV for the most part. Eventually, my mom had a small set in her bedroom, and I didn't have my own until she passed and I, uh, took hers. But most of my life pre20s was having to share the big living room TV with my mom and grandma.

Watching a Power Rangers movie with a friend and couldn't remember the names of Bulk and Skull. They are now Dump and Scum. You are welcome.

This is also where I post from.

I laced up my winter boots today getting ready to head to campus and made the humbling realization they may be 20 years old. I may now have shoes older than some of my students. Someone hug me!

I think i may do this! This looks so cool!

It has been many years, but we are going through the same thing. This short film from 1947 is worth watching: Don't Be A Sucker ⬇️ youtu.be/iQ0ct9bglYo?...

Omg we had snow last night and rain today. I'm glad it's warming up but I am chilled to my old bones!

This has been such a fun watch. I never knew that 90s cheeze would end up being entertaining now, in these trying times!

one of the reasons i wrote this piece is to get away from the gauzy mythology of the civil rights movement "spontaneous mass resistance" "rosa parks was just tired". no. the movement remains a masterclass in the tactics--and the *strategy*--of resistance.

Some plans, in no particular order: get our printer functional again or get a secondhand one (for zine/broadside purposes)

I hope some day we get a physical version of this show because it deserves the hell out of one

I just added more things to this list today: docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Nps.gov removed mention of trans peopel from their Stonewall page. You can visit this page, scroll about halfway down, click "no" on the thing that asks if the website is helpful. It then gives you a text box where you can give them your opinion.

I'm in this one! Well the back of my head anyway. All thrle way on the right. @ingforart.bsky.social is on the left.
