Inspired by @mark-carney.bsky.social and Canadians everywhere. We’re all fighting back on our home ice!

Happy Tasmanian Devil Average Birthday! 🥳 Tasmanian devils breed annually during late Feb/Mar, & have a very short gestation (~21 days). This means the average birth date for devils is 1st April So wish any devils you know a Happy Birthday! &, on average, you’ll be right on the money 🥳

If Hamas had killed 7 Israelis inside of Israel this week, it would be one of the biggest stories in the world, & all over the US media. But Israel killed 7 HUNDRED Palestinians this week, including almost 200 children, & yet there's little outrage from our politicians or media.

…beside your bed.

Some sunshine through my kitchen window. Oil on canvas. 50 x 50cm

The Cotton Tree markets were called off due to high winds this morning. (Thanks TC Alfred) So I sat and watched and sketched. Met a lovely big black Labrador who was curious. These umbrellas were soon taken down, before they blew away.

It's my birthday today 🥳 If you want to give me a gift, I'd love reposts of my art!

The fastest potato you'll ever see! Whilst #wombats might look cuddly and slow, when needed they can hit speeds of 40km/h. While they can’t sustain it for long, these bursts of speed are truly impressive for such stocky little legends. Happy #WombatWednesday! 📷: Bowles Wildlife Photography

My go at this weeks Thursday #portraitchallenge. Thanks to @studioteabreak.bsky.social for hosting

Please help me! I’m on X because that’s where my paintings sell. I shift about 95% of my work there. If I could just get my followers up to the same level here, it would release me from the swamp. I live in the middle of nowhere so I rely on social media to share & show my work.

Thursday #portraitchallenge to keep the days straight in my head :) Thanks to @studioteabreak.bsky.social for hosting the weekly challenges. Back again next year for more.

It must be nearly Christmas because I don't know what day it is. Betwixmas ahoy!

The sad and inevitable truth is in another 10 years, when it is all said and done and it is irrefutable Israel committed a genocide in Palestine, there will be many a handwringing think piece from those who defend Israel's actions now, claiming 'we didn't know'. They know. Remember that they knew.
