After a run of misses, it appears that the pie fairies have smiled upon me today

I just finished "The Bad-Ass Librarians of Timbuktu" by Joshua Hammer. LOVE learning new stuff, and this was a revelation. Abdel Kader Haidara and his team, who saved 377,000 manuscripts from Al Qaeda, are the best kind of heroes the world could have. Great great read!

I can't wait to go to chemo this week in my deep red area and announce loudly that federal funding for cancer research has been canceled. And that the Medicare supplements for the ACA are going away. Wish me luck--it'll be...interesting.
