So I've given up my close parking space to work (I can't afford it anymore), and am walking farther to the employee lot. (Before anyone says anything, I live in the US South-ish, rural town, my job is 20 miles away. I have to drive). Last Friday I'm trying to find the good about this.. #Flowerwalk

Highlights of Friday's game: * PC Fire giant ripping wolf's head in two while simultaneously setting it on fire with fire touch. * NPC Orc Bounty Hunter screaming "MITZY!" when his wolf died. * PC's taking the NPC that was only supposed to be 3 minute exposition & placing him in their backpack. /1

I have DM’d for the first time. One shot based on a freely available one. NOTHING went as planned. The two NPCs that were supposed to be there for 3 min got dragged along… Became major plot points. I scaled up and down based on time. Puzzle was a resounding success.

Okay.. I'm not one to do this, but kiddo said I should.. I'm DM'ing a D&D group for the first time, and I want it to be silly. So I made some useless magic items for souvenirs, Procreate on iPad, printed on cardstock with packing tape as the poor man's laminate. Hope they enjoy it.

Not being superior here.. my office ONLY has a Keurig that takes pods. I don't use pods at home, but I do buy them for everyone in the office, except my money is getting so tight, I can't anymore. I brought coffee from home and am using a reusable pod (which I do have a couple).
