Had a conversation with a #BMS friend and we agreed that celebrating our own achievements should be comfortable. Celebrating my success is difficult but others easy. I don’t know how others feel but it’s definitely something I need to work on without ego. #BMSsky #biomedicalscience #IBMS

Very interesting discussion the other day. A butterfly rash is a possible SLE symptom, but melanated skin it could be much harder to spot. All I see in books and a google search is mostly light skinned rashes. Makes me think a broad range of skin tones may be useful in education. Thoughts? #BMSsky
