While extra funding to Wales is to be welcomed, the most important thing long-term for Cymru is that the system is reformed so we can’t be screwed over relative other UK Nations. Fair funding for Wales must be built in & automatic, not subject to a decade of pleading & haggling

Port Talbot’s blast furnaces have already been extinguished, because Labour let it happen. The UK Government could have legislated to save Port Talbot, just as they are doing for Scunthorpe today. Plaid Cymru will table an amendment to include Wales under the terms of this Bill.
