One of the biggest problems with neural networks is that they do not simulate multiplication. Say that the output is expected to involve the multiplication of two input parameters. Mathematically linear layers can never simulate that, neither convoutions.

Thinking about replacing coding people with AI? Think twice. I have spent more than two hours trying to get chatgpt, claude, and others to write fast code for randomly swapping neighbouring pixels. None of them worked, and most of the code produced copied values, not swapped.

Unbelievable. I spent hours trying to figure out why a neural network was not training. I just figured out that the reason was because the default Epsilon of 1e-3 in the loss function was too high!!!

Ebay has become a joke for an auction website. I tried to sell an item by auction. Winning bidder immediately asks for cancellation. Why is this option even a available. Cancellation rejected. No response from ebay or buyer. Ebay should force buyer to respect commitment to buy and force to pay.
