I’m considering jobs outside academia. Post docs are underpaid and adding an extra layer of uncertainty makes it impossible to early career scientists women of color.

We should also tell them that if they get diagnosed with cancer or other treatable disease they should not get any treatment because is “nature ways of telling you your DNA is weak”

I know we have not reach the point of emergency yet but could other countries add travel restrictions to the US to prevent spread of disease and add more pressure on the US government to reinstate CDC people in charge of contact tracing or infectious diseases?

Same! Child is going through another cold right after stomach flu. Now I got one of those and we are here 5th day without her attending day care, very convenient having a long weekend after sickness 😮💨

Yes! In my last submission, the author guide listed the sections that needed to be included in the main manuscript such as contributions. Then after submission, received an email asking to removed it . I also don’t like when through submission they ask for short bios from coauthors.

My 2 year old and I have been going for walks since she started walking, and notice it’s just us and people walking their dogs, sometimes parents with strollers. We have our favorite spots including a monk statue in our neighbor’s front yard that gets a pebble or pine cone as a present every time
