It's time to get back to reading properly. Used to get hung up on fantasy fiction that carried little messaging or value. After finishing Roadside Picnic, I thought it time to get into books to expand my knowledge and outlook; starting here. Less than a quarter through. Good read so far. #booksky

Every joint in my body has started aching, to the point of being bed bound this evening. Pretty sure I've caught something. Why... 🙃

Detoxing the part few days. Not physically but mentally. Chilling out, playing Minecraft with my wife. Building cool stuff. Occasionally checking my phone. Much needed after this week. I need to stop suggesting things to people as they always think it's a good idea and want me to follow through 🙃

Holy shit it's been a bad day today. The bureaucracy that comes with being a professional in technology is... Something else. I need a nap, and a beer.

Bring back accessible game demos, so we can try before we buy! I am ready to receive my nobel prize now. Thank you.

Getting back into a modded build of Minecraft; got a bunch of friends online on a server. Even my family members are playing. Probably the best rapport we've had amongst each other for quite some time. Give me some building ideas folks! We'll try our best 😀

This event reminded me of the end of Ready Player One (film). Where they shut off the oasis once a week so you spend time with your significant others. Except that couldn't involve watching a movie together because the thing you use as a media center was also the thing that was shut off.

Shit like this why my PS5 has become a £400 YouTube player.

I've come to the conclusion AAA gaming industry runs entirely off misplaced childhood dreams. As soon as they burn through the youngest crop of workers, the next wave graduates with their “game dev” level qualifications are prepped to be eaten by the corporate nightmare machine. Buy indie games.

Started a new run of Starfield the other day. I have no idea how I finished my first run. Don't get me wrong, by hour 30, I was playing just so I could say I finished it. Trying it again, this game is actually painfully boring. What were Bethesda thinking? I am worried about The Elder Scrolls VI.

If anyone is wondering for an indie game to buy, which has a very dedicated dev team please consider: store.steampowered.com/app/324080/R... I got this game a decade ago, never actually played it. This week I did. I also got a few friends involved, we've been having a good time.

I built my wife a Gaming PC not long ago. It took some time to acclimatize to it; but now we're regularly playing games together! Right now, we're around 20% through Enshrouded. store.steampowered.com/app/1203620/... I'd recommend this game big time! Made by the same studio as Portal Knights!

I get blocked a lot when saying DA:V was a decent, but underwhelming game. So if you care for building an audience; I'd avoid doing so. If you're not willing to see/discuss something as non-offensive as not liking a game as much; most people are going to think you're not worth talking to at all.

Just so incredibly dumb from EA. Especially when Kingdom Come 2, a resolutely single-player game with no online or live service component, just sold a million copies in 24 hours.

I've been saving for a house for quite some time now, and the market in my area is dreadful. Rotting house, that's been on the market for 2 years because it's rotting - £200k Checked today... The same rotting house, 220k. Why? Because fuck you. Who makes this bullshit. I should move to Scotland.

For those of you dipping their feet into VR, here is a great indie game to try: store.steampowered.com/app/1125240/... Fantastic art-style, accessible controls, endless fun due to the roguelike, dungeon crawler mechanics. Now with co-op available! (Available on Quest as well) #indiegame #gaming

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Very positive reception so far; which I'm happy about as I really enjoyed the first game. That being said, I won't be picking it up for a couple of months. The time the OG needed to get good was painful. Uni-work + Job just simply won't allow me to do it right now.
