Thee Oh Sees - Carrion Crawler/The Dream VERY good psychedelic punk album. Basically the opposite of their previous album, Castlemania. Probably my new favorite of theirs, at least for the garage stuff. Sounds better on speakers than headphones I think.

Thee Oh Sees / Total Control Split EP I enjoyed this EP. Thee Oh Sees played garage rock performances of already existing songs, while Total Control came up with a completely original set of songs just for this EP. Very good!

Recently found out that the mono versions of Beatles songs that are on the Super Deluxe releases are more compressed than on earlier releases. Paperback Writer for example, the vocals are more distorted than they used to be. God I hate loudness wars.

Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks - Enter The Slasher House Very good neo-psych album. The bass is too loud for my tastes, but I got used to it. Has some of the most intense moments I've heard from an Animal Collective member.

Thee Oh Sees - Warm Slime Really like this album, what I expect from them so far, exactly what I wanted. Second favorite behind Masters Bedroom.* Almost every track felt like a "middle of the album" track though. (Also amazing artwork)
