A couple bright spots over the last few weeks: 1. Independent journalism - real, investigative and source-based, is absolutely blowing up. It means less reliance on traditional media that has traded journalism for capitalism.

Dems concerned about clear messaging are sleeping. Here's a strategy: let everyone go wild. Have the ugly fight in public. Fight flooding the zone with obliterating it. Roll up your sleeves and pound the shit out of the common enemy: billionaires, right-wing extremists, racists, and oligarchs.

Something that stands out to me is a complete lack of pushback by major organized religions. No denouncement of Trump's cruelty toward the most helpless, sickest, and weakest people on the planet, all to enrich the wealthy. Am I missing something here? One Bishop and a Pope's "prayers"? That's it?

Law is meant to limit authoritarianism. Media is meant to limit fascism. Justice is meant to limit kleptocracy. Guess who controls those right now? What's left is labor, which is meant to limit oligarchy, and once the rich figure out how to get richer without it, we close the book on America.
