The screen isn't bad, but it's not great either. A little slow to navigate sometimes. Bought mine in 22 and didn't bother looking at Tesla for similar reasons. Test drove ID4/EV6/Ioniq 5 and liked the Mach-E the best. I'm jealous of the deals they're running now haha

Only complaints: 1) Paint is soft and prone to chips from rocks/road debris 2) Center screen can sometimes be frustrating/slow. You can reboot it and that usually fixes issues 3) Wireless phone charging pad is useless (aftermarket version online is good) Lone maintenance has been a tire rotation

Love my Mach-E! Unfortunately bought mine when they were crazy expensive, but it has been a great car.

Of course!

Yep. And if they do get a sample and the cultures come back negative (because they've been on therapy), they lose faith in our micro lab because karius found it and we didn't. But if they had just done culture to begin with, we would have an isolate and susceptibility results. Vicious cycle!

I have seen that happening here in SC. Clinical teams refusing biopsies/bronchs/etc. until Karius is sent. Only ID can order Karius, so they end up ordering it because the clinical teams won't do anything else until they do. Has definitely slowed diagnoses/treatment by delaying these procedures.

Of course! And welcome :)

I created a "Clinical Microbiology" starter pack #clinmicro. This list is inclusive of public health professionals, but there may be other public health specific starter packs that would be useful, too. @drdr-pp.bsky.social @biologistnina.bsky.social may have some suggestions! go.bsky.app/VTpSjBL

Definitely! I’m hoping we can continue to grow this group. We’re a small community and it’s nice to have an informal forum to communicate with each other

You should already be in there, but let me know if you don’t see yourself

Done!

Done! Definitely agree, I keep hoping to see more people make the switch but it has been slow for the micro people.

Definitely! You're included now.

Definitely! I added you from my phone this morning but I don't see you there now on my computer. Added you again, but let me know if you don't see yourself there. Sorry about that!

Awesome, thank you! Everyone has been added.

Of course! You should be added now. Still working on getting @richdavisphd.bsky.social active on here again, but he's here at least!

I don't see it in the Feed, but I do see it if I just search for clinmicro. I'm guessing it's a delay.
comment in response to post
Definitely! Love to have people from all areas included.

Thanks! Updated. Also added the #clinmicro feed to the pack (thanks for setting that up)

Done! Please let me know of any others who should be included.

Sensitivity is another one of my pet peeves. I didn't ask how the bacteria were feeling when I exposed them to antibiotics, I just want to know if they're susceptible to them 🤣

Of course, welcome!

You'll have to take that request to Merriam-Webster and let me know if they approve. Until then, "speciation" requests will be denied.
comment in response to post
Well, that's the problem. We don't really have one. My personal list of acceptable alternatives: -Species identification -Identification -What's growing? -What's in the culture? -What organisms are growing? -Logan, this is ridiculous, just tell me what's there! Really anything EXCEPT speciation 😂

I started one! There's just not many of us on here yet :( go.bsky.app/VTpSjBL

Done! Spread the word and let me know if anyone else should be included. Would love to see more of us on the platform.

Also, @germhuntermd.bsky.social can you add me to your ID/Micro pack?
