I was going to say Trump's White House reminds me of Chamberlain's appeasement but that's so unfair on Chamberlain who wasn't a con man, or a rapist, or corrupt.

So, I re-watched 'Dr No'. Connery just bursts from the screen. It's a pretty mild adventure by later Bond standards. Lots of dubbing, which seems to have been endemic in 60s Bond. Poor Quarrel.
