Our response times for reaching the most serious emergencies in April 2025 were the fastest they have been for years, according to new #NHSEngland data released today. The response times have been achieved despite 999 call volumes remaining consistently high.

We are pleased to announce that Jason Killens KAM has been appointed as our new Chief Executive. Jason, who will take up his post in the summer, has nearly 30 years’ experience in the ambulance sector. He is currently Chief Executive of Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust.

Over 30,000 Londoners experiencing a mental health crisis have been treated by our mental health joint response unit. The team only refer 18% of patients experiencing a mental health crisis to A&E with many being signposted to more appropriate services. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
