Played a bit of Shogun 2, an old favourite. Really nails that "1 more turn" dynamic of strategy games. Its also good that defensive sieges are so incredibly powerful cause playing as a trickier campaign like the ikko ikki/hattori really helps even the odds. Finally getting the enemy to rout is great

This April it's the 5 year anniversary of In Other Waters (more on that later 😘) so I've been thinking about the game a lot. One of the things I am happiest with its the systemic little stalk scraper who plays about on the title screen, eating, exploring, and getting scared off by a signal stalk.
