Absolutely head over heels in love with #TheResidence and I need this to be a continuing series, pretty please Netflix??😍

For those in Arizona in the US, know that Tom Horne the AZ Super of Public Ed, fully supports the closing of the Dept of Education, & wants to be re-elected. The man at least partially responsible for how poorly our state is doing in edu is trying to throw blame on the feds to get re-elected.

Please read Sonderling’s plan of action. He is essentially planning to ignore policy and law to keep “in lockstep” with Trump- his words. His plans can NOT be accomplished WITHOUT ignoring policy and law.

The bill to abolish the Department of Education is a bill to dismantle libraries. action.everylibrary.org/sb_5384 via @everylibrary.bsky.social

Followed a whim and got this 2 days ago - omg!!😍 Can’t wait for the sequel. Then plunged directly into another of her books, Star Eater, loving it so far. I’m getting Frances Hardinge feels from this author(like, my highest compliment).

Thanks to my new book club I’ve read 2 YA fantasy books/series in the last mo w/ cliffhanger endings & waits for the sequels. And then 1 I found on my own bc I was trying to divert a book hangover from the 1st & didn’t realize it was also a series🤦‍♀️ Titles below if u want to be miserable w/ me 😜

All I want for Christmas is TERM LIMITS for members of Congress and the Supreme Court. 🎄

Recent reads: The Pumpkin Princess and the Forever Night: absolutely delightful elementary fantasy w/ a mystery for 2nd &up. The Christmas Inn: Hallmark movie in a book🤢It’s NOT my thing. But book club means not always enjoying what I’m reading, just enjoying tearing it apart over cookies later!

Currently watching Emilia Perez on Netflix and YA’LL. They just did a whole song and stretcher-bed dance routine about vaginoplasty and mammoplasty. This is already epic and weird and I had thought it was about a female crime boss so I’m slightly confused but I am here for it.

Love this! And my students would love any or all of these books ☺️

Public library energy is the best energy. Like here is all the knowledge we could find, it's been meticulously organized and vetted and it will cost you nothing today, welcome to the absolute pinnacle of human civic evolution, feel free to pull up any bean bag chair you like

Book review, Montgomery and the Case of the Golden Key by Tracy Occomy Crowder: very sweet elementary book, squeaky clean, so I’d be comfy w/recc to 2nd & up. Delves into adult topics of politics & history, some social nuance, in an appropriate, easy way for young kids. Mystery adds interest.
