Not related to armor pants but my goat gave birth to four little peanuts and never have I felt more called to ✨fashion design✨

Genuinely worried about mine and every other artist's small online business 🫠 USPS is what keeps shipping affordable and if it's privatized rates will skyrocket and only places like Amazon with their own fleet will be able to offer free/reasonable shipping rates.

It's okay if your entire closet is earth tones, you can blame Robespierre and Kant. Check out my new video on why men's fashion is kinda boring. ✨ www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC2y...

Mr Rogers and Sesame Street taught me love, kindness, compassion, and empathy. Star Trek taught me to dream of and aspire to help create a better and more diverse world. Star Wars and Tolkien taught me to fight for freedom, even in the face of overwhelming odds and great evil.

If this ain't the entire experience of being a woman posting history content on the internet.

Some people didn’t grow up watching Captain Planet, Kim Possible, Magic School Bus, or Recess, and it shows.

My first stab at long-form armor rambling! Hope you'll get the same respite out of watching that I did making a little bit of fun educational content while the world is burning. 🔥🌎🔥 youtu.be/Wc0C01cWB2s

Softness is valuable and a trait I’ve always as an adult tried to rediscover in myself, but as someone who has had to rage and rage and rage for most of my life—it does get things done

I'm new to this whole just-like-Twitter-used-to-make thing but my entire feed is 50% ✨ YAY ART! ^.^ SUPPORT A SMALL BUSINESS! ✨ and 50% "tuck your pants into your socks boys and girls, fascism has arrived" and geez the whiplash from post to post makes me feel literally insane

Just here to remind you that bamboo fabric is just viscose rayon, and any brand that's pitching you on how "sustainable" it is as a material is blithely omitting how toxic it is to produce. Choose Tencel lyocell instead, a very similar fiber whose process is less harmful to the people who make it.

When I was at the Met last week, I overheard a kid asking his dad why the shoulder was so big on this armor. Dad didn’t know, so I butted in that this is specifically an armor for the joust. Many questions and facts later, dad asks, “how do you know all this?” Well, sir… I’m a nerd. 🤷‍♀️

Someone in a local photographers' group was advertising with flagrantly AI-generated images. I advised that she label her work accordingly. She fired back that I was one to talk when my work was also AI, which tickled me. Just my beautiful friend, my sword, my armor apparel, and my Nikon D850.

If you went to college: 1. What was your career goal when you started? 2. Your initial major? 3. If you changed majors, what did you change to? 4. What do you do now professionally? 1. Graphic Design 2. Business (Marketing) 3. Added Fine Art (Design) 4. Graphic design, art direction, fashion design

Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.

I totally respect creators liberating themselves from social media by heading to ownable platforms like Patreon — but ultimately it's yet another cost passed on to the consumer because no corporation will foot the bill for our quality of life. How many subscriptions can we stack on the individual?

I went to a garment industry trade show in New York City this weekend, and I'm so excited about all the things I learned, particularly about new developments in textile to textile recycling! Here's a few gold nuggets (in thread):

Hey! I make clothes that look like armor. Stick around for lukewarm takes on art, history, and fashion, as well as updates on new releases.
