I love going to a French restaurant (in the US) where employees are forced to say bonjour, but if you simply throw out a "je voudre [your order]", all of a sudden, they just know Hello, and ask you to speak English. They don't get paid enough to learn basic conversation 😮‍💨 which, I totally get lol

The good thing about the Gulf of America situation, is that it was created via EO (even though it make us look dumb AF). My understanding is that the next president can revert it back to Gulf of Mexico via their own EO. That's one way of catching up with the rest of the world, I guess 🙄

My favorite genre of Bluesky users are the users who post <10 times and immediately go back to xitter because they aren't getting the engagement numbers that they're used to. People boo hoo the other place and immediately go back to it to see big number go biggerer. Enjoy hating your experience???
