I'm saving code in a document called "Godot recipes". I'll often not remember how to do things later even if I've done them before. I need step by step notes. This is due to ADHD - both short term & long term memory are affected. It's frustrating because ADHD also doesn't want to revisit things. 😭

To fix my coordinate problem in Godot I needed to get the global mouse position and translate that into the tilemap layer's local coordinates. Otherwise what I was clicking was basically on the wrong coordinate system so it'd report data from tiles shifted * distance from the camera.

Another member of the #MushroomMimic family is the Fly Agaric Fairy. These fairies have two sets of wings, the larger upper set mimicking the mushroom cap, while the smaller set wraps around the legs to mimic the stem. Fly Agarics are generally curious and are particularly fond of Blackberries 🖤

Eyes…. So itchy. Spring, you hate me. Introducing a camera to my Godot game made my tile data function’s coordinates wrong. The cam has to offset to center within the UI & that's part of it. I think maybe camera scaling is affecting things too. Hmm. Important update: I now have ice cream.
