I started my new job today (it went great!). But I was dismayed to hear from my new coworkers that last week they had to shut down for a few days because of threats against their departments that work with immigrants. I hate what is happening in the US right now.

I'm starting my new job tomorrow - working with domestic violence perpetrators by assessing and recommending to the court classes and programs to help end the cycle of abuse. I'm so excited and honored with such a mission.
