Not sure it matters what the shooter's political ideology is. What's more relevant/actionable is the fact that his rage was widely understood by Americans, who by the way just reelected Trump. Hard to convince voters of the stakes of preserving a system that immiserated them.

I know this is supposed to be a joke, but the right wing believes the purpose of the courts is to protect the "good" and punish the "bad." The right has always loved juries, as long as the jury protects the good guys and punishes the wicked.

Recordings have resurfaced of RFK calling Trump "Hitler" and his supporters "Nazis." Very similar to the criticism of Trump as "America's Hitler," leveled by by JD Vance. I used to wonder how Hitler rose to power in a Democratic society.
