When you die, do you think there's an application process for people who wanna come back as cryptids? Like, if I wanna come back as an entity that terrorizes people who blast their music, would I need to have, like, a PoRtFoLiO oF sCaReS ready?? Lol... But seriously, should I get started on that???

If you ever want to hate yourself, here's a recipe: 1 cup Oats 1/4 Grape Nuts 1 Tbsp Honey 2 squirts of Peppermint Extract I was goin' for slightly jazzed up oatmeal, but it tastes like cruuuunchy gum, baby!

Today's worldbuilding music: youtu.be/B7J0YvKPMxI?...

Typo of the Day: "nomey," instead of "money." Dunno how my hands managed that one. Still... Nomey (noun): Money set aside for guilty-pleasure food.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave. Tell them: 1. Vote NO on Cloture AND 2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill. Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it. TODAY is the showdown. 🤳🏽: (202) 224-3121

Someone, somewhere, just now: "Man, I wish there was an MMO or something that was made in Canada that I could play instead of--" Me: *kicks open door in Vauban cosplay. turns chair around and sits, Cap-style* "So it's finally time to play Warframe."

Me: "Hmm. Yesterday, I spent most of my free time worldbuilding for my novel. Dunno if I can justify doing that again toda--" The News: "It's World Book Day." Me: "Oh okay, cool, fuck it."

This crisp $1 bill goes to whoever organizes a Corgi Football League that airs games whenever Trump does one of his stupid fucking speeches. Please give them little jerseys and helmets that fall off very easily.

I was told to lose weight. I was not told how incredibly fucking cold 30° would be once said weight was lost.

Darth Vader's full name was Dartholomew Space Invader

At some point, we have to shift our view of Conservatives from, "Trump and Musk are lying to you!! How don't you get that!?" to, "Trump and Musk are lying to you, but you already know that. You're obviously just pretending you don't as an alibi for your racism."

We should've known we were in the bad timeline when John Wick was a movie about a man shooting up the guys who killed his dog and not a dog shooting up the guys who killed his human.

*runs up and swipes everything you were doing off your desk, onto the floor* FACSIMILE MACHINE. *deep breath* The "fax" in "fax machine" is short for "facsimile."

Me: "... the hammers fell in forge rhythm." Google Docs: Did you mean "hammers fell in *a* forge rhythm"? Me: No. No, I didn't. Anyway, "When the gold was pared off--" Docs: Did you mean "parsed off"? Me: No! I didn't! Leave me the fuck alone! Docs: Did you mean "Live me the duck along"?

In case anyone's writing a character recovering with PT, one of the best parts of recovery is when you feel a muscle reactivate. After months of struggling with a basic exercise, one of your muscles finally tenses back to life and you *feel* the motion get easier. It's so good every. Single. Time.

Santiago Pro Tip: If you have a good dead-eyed stare, use it when dude bros walk into the library & start talking. Just stare. When they see you & look away, keep staring. When they double take, continue to stare. As they leave, stare some more. Be the weirdo your fellow readers deserve.

When it comes down to it, all I want right now is a chubby cat to cuddle with. I'd name them Juice-O.

If anyone's curious how deep the propaganda goes here in New York, I was doing laundry the other day and local news in the Bronx was talking about how "Trump is making good on his promise to deport criminals!" So the answer is, "It's absolutely everywhere, no matter how liberal a place should be."

My favorite part of the MRI is the "Cyberdogs Barking for Five Minutes Straight" part.

Watched First Blood for the first time. Wild experience. Like, if you think you know what that movie is, you don't. All I'll say: it's wild how progressive it is--like, *by today's standards.* If you really want to feel how hard 80's tough guy culture lost the plot, don't look it up--just watch it.
