Cis lesbian who got a mastectomy because she wanted it is a threat to the patriarchal, natalist order because her brand of sexed autonomy is anathema to heterosexualists. It's not just explicitly transgender or transsexual people they abhor--it's gender autonomy, full stop, period.

The 'DEI' stuff brings out how ideologically thin and reactive Blue Labour is. You might expect a 'conservative Labour' tendency to be looking to e.g. Ruskin, Morris, G.D.H.Cole, even Tawney for inspiration, but they'd rather repeat MAGA slogans that don't even make sense this side of the Atlantic.
