It's becoming a trend on the rare times I use Lyft where I'll get assigned a driver with good vibes who's a few minutes away, and JUST as they get close it'll kick the fare over to some person in a less-comfortable car who's "closer" but somehow manages to be slower.

I don't say this lightly as someone who has worked as a journalist in the space for seven years: This Sounds Serious from Kelly&Kelly is a high water mark for comedy fiction podcasting. Each seasons' gimmick is amazing, the sound design is phenomenal, I need to re-listen soon.

One of my favorite quirks of language is when someone bilingual is speaking another language at a steady clip in their That Language Accent but then they stumble onto a loan word from their original language and they just say it in their normal accent like they've been ADR dubbed in post.
