Love all the points made Alicia. #1 is key! Technology is a tool that is always evolving. We cannot get lost in all the tech tools available. One must be intentional and purposeful with choosing the tool that supports student learning. That means one must know how their students lean best.

I agree with your takeaways. AI functions as a powerful tool for generating initial ideas and concepts, but it should not be regarded as the definitive or final output.

Well I hope the expression on my face was an indication of how happy and excited I was to see you. Thank you for the conversation and laughs.

I agree! It’s difficult when there are so many great sessions going on at the same time and you have to choose just one☝️during that time slot.

I used Slidego for years and now Canva has become my one-stop-shop. I guess I need to revisit Slidego.

I’ve experienced that before! It’s definitely a shift, but I’ve found balance by identifying teachers who are open to trying new strategies and collaborating with them and their students. It also allowed me to stay in practitioner mode, actively applying and refining my skills. #EduSky

I completely agree! I think the sheer number of tech applications, especially in this era of AI, has left educators feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin.

I unpublished the other feed. There is no longer an option to choose.

The feeds are extremely slow at refreshing. I’ve found myself just going to my following feed for most current.

I think #EduChat had their first chat last week. They might be doing one tonight. I think #EdTechChat is tonight. #TheEdCollab had one too last week. There is a post with all the chats and days somewhere.

Oh I’ve listened to the entire album several times now! Of course “Luther” is a favorite along with so many others but I feel every bit of “Man At The Garden.” He definitely was sending a message in this album. #MessageRecieved #Mustaaaaaaard

ABSOLUTELY! I welcome handwork but the disrespect for my personal time, especially as a mom, led to me saying #YouCanHaveThis after 2 years of being an AP. How could I pour into other children and teachers and yet leave me no time to pour into my own children.

Oh thank you ☺️! I just cleared my board before the break. Now I know exactly what is going up when I get back.

Time to turn this into a poster and hang it up outside my office door 🤪! I tell students and teachers this all the time when they want to rave about how I fix everything.

I am headed to #FETC this year. This will be my first so I am ecstatic to connect with other #EdTech coaches/specialist.
