You're at a business event. ~1% of the attendees have (intentionally) shit themselves, and are waiting for you to ask them about the smell. This is how it feels to use LinkedIn.

🚨PR PEOPLE🚨 Who's the best person to hire for press mentions and backlinks? Newsjacking, expert input, features, maybe creative stuff idk UK preferred 🌍

I'm so sorry I can't stop laughing. OpenAI, the company built on stealing literally the entire internet, is crying because DeepSeek may have trained on the outputs from ChatGPT. They're crying their eyes out. What a bunch of hypocritical little babies. Cry more, freaks. www.ft.com/content/a0df...

this is WILD i asked Claude to check a writer's article for plagiarism it listed multiple examples + the sites it had plagiarised so i asked for links to check for myself... and the AI admitted it just "made assumptions of plagiarism and stated them as facts" ??????

turns out it's way more productive to do work instead of talking about it. weird

Welp, that sucks The latest algorithm update has finished rolling out and now I owe traffic back to Google

"YouTube sees this feature as the first step toward making it easier for creators who want companies to train AI on their videos, and perhaps be compensated for that training." Why would people opt in on the basis that they'd perhaps, maybe, be compensated one day in the future?

Merry Christmas! PS: your business is dead again

A very small amount of people are like tidal waves. You can try to become one, or you can learn to ride along. Most people are like the beach. They just sit watching everyone else's wave, and it makes them wet when they crash.

NEW: I've finished four weeks of research into the latest startup revenues and trending business ideas. If you know me you know I put my all into these and want to share a ton of insights (free). No ads. No aff links. Just the biggest updates from the past month. Gaps .com 🤝

We recommend the option where you get 0 more applicants, but we get 1,620 more monies

New freelancer shares a brief and when you open it, you see this. What do you do?

This is the cheat code for a successful business (but maybe not an enjoyable life for those around you)

Sigh, I've reached peak "anything but working feels unproductive" again

sorry but who else is doing niche product review content at this level of quality www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nuou...

My X engagement has officially passed away, RIP ⚰️ 9,000+ followers and tweet liked by accounts with ~25,000 combined followers...689 views and that's one of my recent top performers 😂

Just found out my chiropractor is subscribed to my email list LFG

The power of shiny object syndrome is so crazy to me Like, sure, I could earn £1m from my current project, BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS OTHER IDEA THAT COULD EARN YOU £10k??

I've been binging 'Ghost Town Living' on YT; fascinating how the mining industry thrives massively for such short periods of time, and then...nothing. Everyone leaves. It reminds me of blogging...and tweeting about it

Trying to learn things that will impress my son when he's older So far I: - can juggle - didn't leave when he was 6 months old What's next?

There's no way a Meet & Greet car park just sent me a Black Friday offer...right?

I started a gaming site. It blew up, then crashed. From just me to a team of 30 and back down again...except for one hire I didn't even advertise for. I got a special feeling after receiving an application one day and took a chance. We didn't do video reviews...but then we did. And it worked.

Are digital PR linkbuilding campaigns still a thing? As in, the idea of creating a viral asset, doing outreach and getting links? Or did everything change?

Every time I think Google can't possibly get worse I'm left holding a whole tray of their beers

Taking traffic away from big sites that didn't deserve it is great but it's gotta be redistributed to the sites that do deserve it. Currently, Google are using various updates to continually reduce traffic to EVERYONE - other than their own AI results that they stole from the sites they now punish.

When you treat SEO 100% as a bonus it completely reshapes how you approach content Minimal keyword research. No "time on page" boosting. Just value for your audience But it can still rank (in very competitive niches)

Genuine question. Have any large publishers been hit with a Site Reputation Abuse penalty that weren't, y'know...abusing their reputation? With misleading reviews of products they'd never seen let alone tested? Would love to see examples!
