Well, it’s official folks. We’re on BlueSky full time. You want to interact with us? Do it here, don’t message on X/twitter. Don’t want to interact with us? Perfectly understandable, continue to ignore us, probably the best thing for all concerned.

Though "Oral is the New IV" with antibiotics (h/t @bradspellberg.bsky.social), it's not always easy to convince reluctant inpatient clinicians -- especially (in my experience) surgeons, who want to treat "aggressively". Interesting dynamic ... blogs.jwatch.org/hiv-id-obser...

Enterobacter cloacae complex. Ertapenem is suppressed from the culture. My lab tells me this is due to an FDA indication for use. Can anyone elaborate on this? #IDSky

I love it🔥 ASymptomatic Bacteriuria #idsky #medsky #utisky #AMSsky

For my inaugural post, Im proud to announce the publication of our Safer@Home care model. This is going to change how medicine is practiced. No need to admit pts "for IV antibiotics" anymore. Or just for IV diuresis in CHF. Or just for EtOH withdrawal. Etc. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...
