First, this is facism. It's not 'on the path' or 'a worrying precedent'. It's just facism. Second, you cannot do any health or social science research if you ban 'bias', ethnicity', 'race', 'socioeconomic', 'female' etc. That, of course, may be the plan. Fascist regimes don't like social science.
