I'm sorry, manga dazai and anime Dazai are two different people. Manga dazai is cool and mysterious and grrrr, anime zai is like,, the mask is 10 times stronger, he's much sillier, also somehow more of a twink?? I blame this on zai's dub va because man,, kaiji tang is so good, but he's so silly!!
