The President called Jeffrey Goldberg a “sleazebag”. His actions seemed patriotic to me. He was invited to the conversation. He was cautious in his reporting, leaving out much detail. His journalistic integrity and love of country—also intelligence—are obvious. Not apparent in the others involved.

The US Prez just made an astute observation about the horrendous air collision: If they hadn’t been flying at the same elevation, it would not have happened. Also,blaming diversity hires (and Pete B). Not every job at DOT an air traffic controller! Many jobs there don’t require a“genius” !
