Avowed is a fun, if by the numbers, game. I love the Pillars of Eternity world of Eora, and the combat is fun (even if the enemies are a bit repetitive).

I think the Steam Deck is a fantastic handheld. Perhaps my favorite handheld of all time. However, it's definitely not a console. It's not even the strongest handheld and a dedicated Steam console would be more powerful than a docked Steam Deck. I don't think it's the same thing. It's not a Switch.

There's a lot of kerfuffle around Dragon Age: The Veilguard and why some folks are disappointed by it. I was one of those people, and it's due to the writing. They took a dark fantasy world and made it soft and fluffy, which wouldn't be too bad if choice mattered and characters were likable.

I'm early into S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and while I love the setting, world and vibe, but I just can't beat the Bloodsucker enemies. Something about this very early game encounter is tripping me up.

Sadly, I think I'm done playing Dragon Age The Veilguard. It just doesn't have the feel of previous games in the series. I think I'm going to get back to Elder Scrolls Online, because Queen Ayrenn has expectations of me and I can't let her down!
