As i gather another 365 days on my tally, I've had the best of days thanks to @lucy_prodgers, great food, company, and retro arcades to boot... Also, 23 years together, what better valentines gift could I wish for? ❤️

Well, this was worth waiting for! I may have sat my viva back in February, but today I received confirmation that I have been awarded Research Excellence by my examiners 🎉It's totally legitimate to celebrate all over again, right?!

Had an evening of cheese, mulled wine and wreath making last night. I mean, what more can one ask for? There is some thing so cathartic about the making process and so satisfying about seeing the end product. I think this may have to be an annual event!

It was such a pleasure to speak to @danbeever.bsky.social about my Crohn's research as someone living with the disease myself. Dan's idea for a podcast on those researching topics they have lived experience of is inspired and I'm very honoured to be the first! Please have a listen and share away 😊
