Solasta 2s demo is an incredible game. Yeah it runs a bit bad on my PC, but listen, it doesn't have any shader compilation stutters. None. Not even traversal stutters. And no shader compilation. Yeah it only runs at 40-45 fps but the frame times feel good so idc. Code magicians at work!

What's worse is that if you want to change the icons in normal blender you have to recompile the whole program... Plus this annoying menu you have to wrestle with every time you wanna do a normal transfer or something. I thought the whole logic behind blenders ui was LESS mouse action.

Exporting settings for a file shouldn't be done by checking a checkbox that unchecks itself. It works but the UI experience in func godot is something else.

It sucks when games lean into mtx/micro transactions but every time a game that previously didn't, do, they make a lot of money. Maybe I'm just out of touch. People obviously want to pay for mtx.

Great video, as always. I too miss that naive curiosity for other cultures that he mentions... amidsts many cultural & political shifts, I think a misguided use of "cultural appropriation" made people afraid. Yes, navigating different cultures is tricky but isolation is the worst possible solution.
