Scary day, but so grateful things weren’t worse: #TheHubs was out jogging and got hit by a car. He’s fine: just sore & road rash, but still frightening. I’m grateful to the doctors, paramedics & 2 women on the scene who helped him. And that the guy who hit him stopped his car.

Just thinking about that incredible town car tracking shot in WIDOWS. Thank goodness Steve McQueen saw the value in what some might mislabel as “shoe leather.” The neighborhood disparity anchors the story, in addition to the character-forward dialogue. Perfection.

#Havoc: Not even close to being on par with Gareth Evans’ two RAID films. You’ve seen this story play out a zillion times before. Action photography is frantic shakey cam. Tom Hardy rushes through his lines like he’s got somewhere better to be - and maybe we do too.

Jill Sobule’s “I Kissed A Girl” was a breakout hit in 1995 that meant a lot to folks. Her self-titled album it’s on is a gem. However, the song I always equate to her is “Supermodel” off the CLUELESS soundtrack. That song still has legs since it’s in the movie. #RIPJillSobule
