About 800 words in. Gonna call it a night here and we'll pick it back up later.

Well, the summary is done. Now I just need to get down to writing the actual story.

Progress for the JJBA story is coming along, though I'm pretty slow at getting things done to start with. It also doesn't help that I just finished Diamond is Unbreakable and now I want to write for that one too. 😒

JJBA fanfic is underway. Not sure how long it'll take, but it's getting there.

I think having an occasional moment of "Oh shit I'm dealing with a lot right now I need to mentally shut down and separate myself from the world for a small amount of time before getting back into it like nothing happened" Is good for everyone.

So I took a moment to really look at all the fandoms that I want to work on. But more importantly, I tried to think about the WHY. Do I actually like a character enough to dedicate time to write a full story? Is more of just a momentary "hey that'd be cool" kind of deal?

I should be doing something tonight - Working on my commission Working on my stories Organizing my art Organizing music But I've been "doing something" all night - Made dinner Made lunch for the fam for tomorrow Dishes Laundry Vacuum Mop Work Out Answer Emails So now, I'm gonna - Sleep.

I had a good thing going the other day working on some commissions. But now, I'm so dern tired, lol. I need to recharge and keep it going.

I think the hunt for a #JJBA artist is coming along well. I've got some people I'm looking into and corresponding with. Now it just a matter of making sure that they're ok with doing #NSFW as well. It's coming together!!... i think.

Looking for a specific artist is like ~internal screaming~ but I know it'll be worth it in the end. I'm really just looking for someone who can draw in the art style of JJBA. If anyone's got suggestions, I'd love to hear them. #commissions #jjba

So I just discovered, that on X - You can set it so that only verified users can message you, even if you're not verified. Which kind of sucks because.... I'm not paying money just to talk to someone about a commission they may choose not to do. Sigh

I've got a new idea brewing in my head, and I really want some artwork for it, so I decided to go through the people I follow to see what their artwork looks like. I've settled on these fine peeps. I'll do a little more looking though.

Just saw Nosferatu and.... I feel... Let down? I need to process this more.

World building is cool they said. World building is fun they said. And they were absolutely right, it's just also a lot of work.

Still currently working on "Prison Sagas" and it's gonna be broken up into like, two primary prison systems. 1 will be a bit more like a forced natural selection. You fight, you win, you survive. You fight, you lose, you're disposed of. WH40k is giving me a lot of ideas, lol.

Still working on Elysium right now, and it's coming along well. I'm working on the "Prison Sagas" and omg HELLO WORLD BUILDING, lol.

SO! I recently watched Battle Tendancy again and decided to look for the longest fic with Kars in it that looked interesting... I think I can write a fic with 100k words. Might not be done quickly, but I gotchu.

So, after a lot of searching online (and soul searching if I'm being honest) I decided to try and make the title art myself. Figured it couldn't hurt to try. This is what I've got so far and I'm not too mad about it -

Looking for a #digitalartist to hire is a lot harder than I thought. The guy I was going to work with before is an AI artist, so I told him never mind. The design doesn't have to be a lot right now, since the project is still so new. I just want to pay someone and have my title art 🥲

So I'm setting out my goals for next year, and I think that I'ive done a good job of outlining what it is that I want to do. And now it's just a matter of working on those things. I need some kind of schedule. In the mean time, check them out!

I think part of the issue I'm having recently is that I'm catering to all my friend's whims. They want to go here? I'm there. They want to see this movie? I do too. And I just need to say no sometimes. Not that I don't' want to hang out with them, but I don't want to go out this frequently.

I'm doing some work on the WH40k type story I've got going on and decided to reach out to a digital designer to make the cover art. He's charging about $200 USD which isn't terrible, but in this date and age, that's a lot. Here's his profile in case anyone wants to see

Have I read all the books I own? No. Will I keep buying more while re-reading my favourites? Of course. My bookshelf, my rules.

I got tired from working on the sex ed stufff, so I decided to work on my universe sized story and I just want title art. 😭 Why is it so hard to find someone I can pay to make the art for me? Sure, I can use AI to create the title, but I don't want that. I want to pay someone to do it for meeeeee 🥲

I'm working on the opening for some videos I'd like to create. So far, it's pretty straight forward and I'm trying to keep it simple. I think next, I'm going to work with Davinci Resolve and get some moving shapes.

While doing research on where I'm going to be posting content (since YT kicked me off) and there's really not a lot of good sites that get a lot of traffic. I imagine that collectively, they get a decent amount of traffic. However, I'm kind of leaning towards DailyMotion and Odysee right now.

It's been a HECTIC week. Like ngl, I've gotten basically nothing done, which is sad. But that's the great thing about being an independent author - There's no deadlines, no publishing house waiting on your manuscript, nothing! Just me, myself and my own expectations... which in a way are worse.

31,689 is my ending total for #NaNoWriMo. I didn't quite make it, but it was fun! I got through some interesting ideas in the mean time, and that makes me happy. Till next year!
