Baltic Amber and backed with an upcycled antique sterling silver spoon.

Using some old antique silver spoons as back plates. Helps endure the current high cost of silver AND extra hammering always helps with frustration at this mess we're in.

Friends, my very talented friend @lupanyxa.bsky.social is raffling off two pairs of gorgeous earrings to help with Ichabod’s surgical costs. Please check out her work. She isn’t just an artist, she is also a truly good human being and dog lover www.lupanyxa.com/products/raf...

Some new jewelry I made.

This one feels quite powerful. My brain is deep in non stop battle imagery.

Work in progress. Most of what I'm inspired to create these days is adornment for battle.

This bag contains 17 bare root Native Plants. I drove across town to pick them up today and was reminded that here in Portland, Oregon we have a strong community that cares about nature, about the environment and about human rights. A good reminder as to why I live here. . . . #portlandoregon

I've been making teeny tiny batches of handmade soaps as a way of taking it easy when I'm not at my bench.. Something so beautiful about the slow, quiet process and scents that fill and linger in our home.

New Ghost Forest pieces are now live.

More of my ongoing theme this winter, Ghost Forest for tomorrow at 12pm Pacific. Now it's time to kick my feet up for a bit of rest tonight. We need good rest if we're going to stay strong.

I'm at the point where I'm actually hoping the sun or better, a supermassive black hole would just zap us into oblivion already. Anything would be better than suffering the greedy, ugly, demented wraths of these disgusting money sickness monsters.

Finished up these custom earrings for a fellow forest lover here in Oregon. Featuring Sonoran Rhyolite by @maxicabs.bsky.social Who's ready to run off into the trees with me?

I got to sit at my microscope today and set a beautiful little 4mm blue green sapphire for another jewelry maker. While doing so, I found some respite via my ability to hyperfocus. It's the little things.

My brain has been super scattered lately, and I've been hard on myself about it. Until I realized it's a trauma response. So I'm making every effort go easy on myself and finding my focus to work whenever it happens. Thought to share in case any of you might be experiencing something similar.

I've started a goldsmith feed, any smithies out there? Drop a comment! 🥰🩶 #goldsmith #goudsmid #craftmanship go.bsky.app/PYg9mh6

This is Momo Italiano. I rescued him last summer from a very difficult situation, and now he's modeling a clawed glass heart necklace I'm working on. I hope his mug makes at least one person smile because times are getting very, very unreal. Dogs are Love.

A deliberate meditation on love at my bench today. Yet, remaining vigilant to all the hate, fear, and chaos that continues to spiral.

ICE spotted Corvallis Oregon 1/28 3pm.

Back into my own little world to hopefully finish something. My brain has been unusually scattershot lately.

Feeling like you want to run away into the forest? Same.

Creating these Ghost Forest pieces has really been helping my nervous system. Art is therapy.

Another glimpse of the Moon this morning from our bedroom window.

Last night's Moon from my bedroom window here in Oregon. Lit up like a cosmic reminder to us Earthlings to keep our eyes on the bigger picture and not just all the disturbing details of our human chaos.

Mélina's jewelry is absolutely exquisite. I own at least 20 pieces that she's made and they are all my favorite things. The details are just astounding. www.lupanyxa.com/collections/...

Mood. Recently gifted to me by a friend for inspiration. Friends since we were 15. She knows me well. Stay safe out there and protect each other.
