I was shocked recently to learn that many people had never read (or seen) Pride and Prejudice. We need to get this as a critical text in the U.S.: an entire book about having your preconceived notions and world views confronted and then *changing your mind* because of new facts.

Feeling very much like I did in early March 2020. I paid attention this time as well and since January have started a garden and slowly built my supply of some essentials (the good tp, my tea preference, sugar, etc.). It won’t be enough but it is better than being hit with the worst all at once.
