Im about 54 hours into Xenoblade X. I managed to beat chapter 10 which is where I got stuck on the Wii U version. I understand the game's systems much better than I did back then. Plus they have made the Switch version better overall. Im really hoping I can actually finish the game this time.

I just saw Until Dawn in a cinema where I was completely alone. I want to say the movie was great, but its level of horror was a bit beyond my enjoyment. I think they did a very good job at adapting the game. Highly recommended if you want to be scared 💀

I have been playing Zero Zero Perfect Stop on Playdate. Its a really fun Japanese drain driving sim, especially how you use the crank as the accelerator/brake.

About 33 and a half hours into Xenoblade X, I finally got the Skell. Im definitely having a better time with X this time than on Wii U. Partly because of the improvements they have made and partly because I understand the series better after playing all the others.

Just finished Lost Records Bloom and Rage. The second part totally makes up for how slow paced the first part was. This second part was really good. Lots of stuff happens. Its cool how the camcorder gameplay ends up coming together. Highly recommended if you like story focused games.

Finished Avowed after 53 hours. It was so good, exactly my kind of RPG. Interesting story and characters. Great quests. Interesting and varied world design. Good loot and crafting system that isn't too complicated. Its like Skyrim, but a bit simpler. Absolute must play for Bethesda style RPG fans.

Update on the cheap Wii U I bought from Japan. Turns out you can't hack it without a Gamepad. So I bought a Japanese black Gamepad from a seller on ebay, but that turned out to be totally dead, which Im trying to get a refund. Then I bought this white one from Japan which just arrived and it works!

The latest update for Infinity Nikki broke it on my phone. It crashes if I fast travel/teleport. Maybe if I wait a few weeks, it will be fixed in the next update. I don't have anything else to play it on.

Just saw the Minecraft Movie. It was ok, but very much a kids movie I didn't really like it much. I haven't played Minecraft for any significant time, so there were a lot of references I didn't get. It has plenty of Jack Black doing his thing, which was amusing. Others in the theatre loved it.

Great Switch 2 Direct. Mario Kart looks amazing. Cool to have new DK and Kirby. I will probably never use the voice chat. One of the best announcements is I will finally be able to play Final Fantasy Remake. Gamecube NSO makes me happy, I want that new controller.
