When you work with kids as teacher and you get the chance to embarrass them by being extra cringe you take it. Case in point: asking one of the kids today “Am I cool? Am I hip? Am I “with it”as the kids say?” I sounded like Sir Pentious. The kid looked at me like I was cringe. #hazbinhotel #teaching

During a plane trip with my family once we hit some turbulence as we ascended. My anxiety was off the charts and I was not happy. My Dad told me something I will never forget: “When the plane is going through the clouds there will always be turbulence but only for a little while.”
