i've been about to quit Notion for 2 years and i think it's time since it's just openly gaslighting me now. it won't load entire ass databases and acts like they have 100% uptime. this is a brand new database i made because my other 3 journal databases regularly can't even handle 365 entries LMAO

maybe it's the autism but i do not understand Discourse where it's like you enabled PVP mode and suddenly people are just making shit up to argue about. and worse, they're not even winning the argument they chose to create.

the universal support for the CEO killer is so funny to me. i kind of believe he got epstein'd to avoid infoleaks in the insider trading trial and "they" just put deny defend depose to throw everyone off that trail, but i'm just tickled pink that basically nobody cares either way

i had a home invasion (while i was home, yeah i was in fear of my life, moving on) a few weeks ago so i finally invested in security cameras. i avoided doing such a thing up to then honestly because i was worried about turning my life into what a friend called "five nights at lyric's"

based tbh

bsky using domain names as de facto "authentication" is so nice. not only can i immediately tell whether someone is a serious account by the sheer fact they have their own domain name, i don't have to worry about someone username camping or sniping

(screenshotting because i don't want to QRT directly, not because i'm trying to "dunk" on rami) i get what he's trying to say but i'm very kermitface about this statement because it's attacking the wrong problem (how the term "indie" has been used for almost 10 years now)

chuck tingle, notable 'joke' and 'bit', still wildly successful despite neurotypical people thinking autistic folks cant possibly create 'real' art

that classic autistic way of being your most raw honest self and having swarms of people analyze the 'bit' you are doing

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record. They run them bc people react to them the most. If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change. It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

i just tried to use up ice cream coupons and as i used up the last one... they gave me another two coupons good until march

i went to go research the latest Video Game Drama and IMMEDIATELY was shown 5 separate dramas i wasn't looking for that all boil down to "people argue in circles about how minority issues that don't affect them are portrayed in video games they did not play"

bought a 3 mo. sub of Manta again after taking a break back in april, i'm trying to catch up with Betrayal of Dignity but i'm starting to think i should just quit this one after all. really don't understand the "literally just some chick getting her life ruined by erratic psychopaths" genre

oh... i just got invited to a potluck/white elephant party by some friends i hadn't seen in a while. i was just starting to wonder if they were avoiding me 🥹

lets trot

Bluesky is closing the gap but there was just a tweet today about how it’s ableist to talk about building a working class coalition, Twitter ain’t going down without a fight
