Okay, after a night of sleep (made possible by meds), my blood is still boiling, but at least I was able to start sorting my thoughts. Realizing that not only I, but also my brother, who I always saw as the family's "golden child" suffered from trauma at the hands of our father, breaks my heart.

Had the best talk ever with my brother. TLDR: my original message didn't even make it to him somehow; but now we talked on the phone and. I can't even put into words how grateful I am for having a brother like that and the amazing talk we had. He completely supports me. Thank the heavens.
