I'm so over the BBC News. There is an interest rate cut so apparently (in the interest of balance) we have to report how this is damaging a nine week old baby who can't get a decent return on it's savings. What the absolute fuck! DOOM, DOOM.

#traitors YES!

#traitors Charlotte with her total through the series lie and backstabbing and pretend tears must not win. Francesca may have to go too because the seer power is poison.

She said, “May I ask you to have mercy Mr. President on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away." If Mike Johnson thinks that’s “radical,” perhaps he has a fundamental misunderstanding of his own religion.

They are doing it again.

Wow

The only reason I don’t want to go on #TheTraitors is in case I have to put up with someone like Joe, consecutively, for a number of days…

In terms of who I want to win: Definitely- If Traitors, Minah &/or Charlotte, if Faithfuls, Alexander & Francesca Meh- Freddie & Jake Just no- Leanne Burn the castle down- Joe #TheTraitors

Just kill Joe because he’s the most annoying. Mind you, I’ve been saying this every day. #TheTraitors

Alexander manifesting how we all feel about Joe #TheTraitors

At what point does the group notice that Joe is repeatedly going after softly spoken, intelligent men who are NOT TRAITORS? #thetraitors #traitorsuk

Running on a conservative ticket for a by-election sometime in 2026. His key qualities are being hopeless and obnoxious #TheTraitors

I'll no longer settle for Joe being murdered the regular way. I need it to be Orient Express style. #TheTraitors

Nadine Dorries, "In 1987 we had 250,000 hospital beds for a population of 55 million" #BBCQT "Today, in 2025, we only have 140,000 hospital beds and a population of 68 million" Fiona Bruce, "So why didn't the Conservatives build more hospitals and have more beds?"

James Watt Brewdog's CEO is worth £262,000,000 he is refusing to raise the wage of his staff in London by the £1 an hour to keep them at the National Living Wage. Brewdog is apparently a 'nice' company, but wage freezes don't seem very nice. Do they?

He lied & lied & lied & lied & no-one in the NHS will ever see him as anything other than a grasping, greedy, crooked, venal, narcissistic charlatan. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Sovereignty is… Wanting a foreign billionaire to meddle in your politics Oh, the back-bending mental gymnastics of those easily-led bellends.

MPs are set to vote through Labour ’s Renters Rights bill on Tuesday, banning no-fault evictions and demanding landlords fix serious health hazards like damp and mould 👏 www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

This is really good. Pointing out that Starmer at no point & in no way equated calls for an Inquiry with being ‘far right’ was a very lonely business last week. Here are *all* the receipts.

Badenoch was Minister for Children and Families. She never once raised the issue of grooming gangs or met any survivors. But now she implies that Labour MPs are complicit, refuses to defend Jess Phillips and hopes to wreck the child safety bill. All to please Musk. Utterly… unforgivably detestable.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

Kemi Badenoch unable to name a time she raised the grooming gangs scandal in the Commons when challenged by Keir Starmer. #PMQs

Badenoch is scum. Disingenous lies and point scoring. She not only looked like a fool, but she (knowingly and cynically) dragged the House into the sewer just now. Starmer handled her very well.

Elon Musk didn't get a single vote from anyone, he doesn't have any official position in the Government. According to the Constitution he should have no power over Government. The last time the USA had a unelected dictator ruling them, they had a revolution.

*terrible beatboxing noises* “My name is Mark Z and I’m here to say that i’m letting people use slurs in a different way!”

Andrew Tate is saying he will sue anyone who calls him a rapist. Meanwhile he is still on trial for sex trafficking and rape.

STORY Kemi Badenoch hasn't actually met any grooming gang survivors - and doesn't think she needs to www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Kemi Badenoch, "The child sexual abuse scandal is one of the worst scandals in British history" Nadine Dorries, "I can assure you, the entire time I was in cabinet, this was never discussed"

Ooh look… a feeble number of unnamed ‘One Nation’ Tories are having yet another of their utterly ineffective hand-wringing wetties over just how morally repugnant their party has become. It will come to nothing and they will all be nodding along by the weekend. liveapp.inews.co.uk/category/bad...

Word of the day is ‘pavonise’ (19th century): to strut about like a peacock, all puffed up with conceit.

Camilla Tominey clearly missed the Nick Robinson interview.

How many times in the past week have you heard UK broadcasters say “Pakistani grooming gangs” despite 2% of Pakistanis being responsible for child sexual abuse? 88% are white British. How many times has Musk or Farage been the headline? They are openly normalising far right narratives.

In other news, Nigel Farage didn't bother to turn up to the debate on grooming gangs in the House of Commons just now

Farage is so furious re grooming gangs he couldn’t be arsed to turn up for a debate on it in HOP.. Whereas doing posts on X demanding inquiries that already took place.. is so much less effort👇🏼🥴 Eww what’s that stink.. ahh yep it’s Farage’s desperation 🤢

It is not just that Musk is attempting to 'influence' democratic politics in the UK & elsewhere. Above all, he is attempting, with success, to cause disruption & chaos: instilling a sense the game - of media; politics; truth - has changed. It has. And it accelerates faster than we can all keep up...

@lbc.co.uk The caller on @lewisgoodall.com blaming Labour for not dealing with 'grooming gangs' is going to be really embarrassed when someone explains that Tories formed the Government for 14 years (when all this horror came to light) and they didn't set up a full public inquiry. 🤷

Nobody has provided more "oxygen of support" to Farage than the BBC. For almost a decade now. #BBCLauraK
