What a Lions 12 looks like

Really hate the 20 minute red card, don’t think it’s enough of a deterrent to reckless behaviour like Rinngrose’s

Good time for defence sector unions

#LabourHistory #Bursary Ariane Weller used a Society for the Study of Labour History bursary to visit Madrid in search of women anarchists involved in the Spanish Civil War. Her report is on our website... sslh.org.uk/2025/02/20/a...

Thought this was interesting carnegieendowment.org/russia-euras...

This might be because the NFU isn’t a union…

When is the UCU not divided?

Another misrepresentation of the Lucas Plan by an online leftist? Surely not. The movement’s history is so regularly mangled by people who cba to learn and all just for their own profile

Was searching for an article online and instead came across a wave of employment rights bill related tik toks, and properly fell down the rabbit hole. Some form unions, some form HR firms, one that was explaining how people could use it for a-level politics and like wtf

I suspect the American economy might be slightly interlinked with the global one, which would be a tad sub-optimal for others.

Man ain’t wrong, and yet many on the left still punch against universities. Whether it’s the pig-ignorant ‘I think tuition fees are good actually because otherwise it’s a middle-class subsidy’ or the ‘we need institutions that deliver technical qualifications instead of Micky-mouse degrees’

Around 400,000 people work in universities across the UK, and more then 200,000 of them are academics. The closures and job losses we’re seeing in the sector just now are a major industrial crises affecting the key workplaces and economic drivers of hundreds of towns and cities.
