Parents can legally KILL their children by refusing medical care for “religious reasons” That is a MUCH more pressing issue than happy trans kids thriving with supportive parents. If the whole goal is to “protect the children”, why are we taking kids’s lives away rather than saving them?

Parents have the right to decide if their children get vaccines. They have the right to decide if their child’s cancer gets treated. What makes a trans kid’s healthcare different? Parents should have those same rights. This is a parental rights issue, which I thought the right cared about.

If you’re a straight, cis person who has ever posted some version of a rainbow with “you’re safe with me” or similar, it’s time to back up the words with action— contact your reps and ask them what they’re going to do to protect trans people from this administration, particularly trans kids.

We NEED to stop saying that the EO targets GAC for minors. It targets GAC for minors AND adults. Most trans adults (and adults in general) do not care enough to do something. By reminding them that they too are a target, we can encourage them to make change. We NEED all hands on deck.
