Cold day 9. After dealing w Covid last year, something as common as a cold is a relief, though annoying. We’ve actually been healthier since the pandemic (may need to start specifying which one soon 😱) began - this is only our second illness in 5+ years.

I’ve been off #meta for the last week and it’s been super easy. The only thing I miss is Instagram. My distant family also posts more to FB so I’m not up to date with their lives. Threads- haven’t missed at all so deleting. WhatsApp- need to keep for work/travel.

Didn’t go to training today because I didn’t want to risk getting my training partner or coach sick. I’m still not sure if I have anything more than sinuses rejecting the super dry air. Our humidifier only can manage about 7 hours before it’s out of water. 🏜️ 🌵 🐪

In the waiting room for a docs appointment. I’m the only one wearing a mask because there’s an off chance I have a cold (or it’s the lack of humidity since I feel fine). Several people are coughing up a storm, but no mask. Sigh. It’s not hard to protect each other.
