In hindsight, the worst thing to happen to us was Merino scoring those 2 goals against Leicester. That move should’ve been the last throw of the dice, not our first choice strategy. We needed to gamble on a new system once our front 4 all went down injured.

The closer you look at the MLS red card, the more it looks like a foul by Kudus. It’s basically 1 red card in every 5 PL games this season. I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m fatigued with the long running battle with PGMOL & can’t be arsed to argue anymore. Just end the season.

Notice how Slot uses Salah. Against Villa, he didn’t do a lick of defending, he stayed high up the pitch. Against City, he was defending like his life depended on it. This is the sort of thing we need to do with Saka & Martinelli. Pick our spots better
