So here’s the thing. You’re on the M3 doing 60 in the middle lane. You want to overtake the guy at 50 but someone coming up at 70 behind you. So you stand off for a bit. He zips by and you pull out. You pass and everyone pulls back into the middle lane doing their own favoured speeds.
